CENTERVILLE, UT. (Jan 19, 2021)— Tread Lightly!, a U.S.-based nonprofit dedicated to promoting responsible motorized recreation through education and stewardship programs, today announced the Ford Performance Racing School as its newest Official Off-road Ethics Partner.
“Thank you to the Ford Performance Racing School for promoting responsible off-roading and doing their part in helping to keep motorized trails open by promoting the Tread Lightly! Ethic,” said Matt Caldwell, Tread Lightly! Executive Director.
As an Official Off-road Ethics Partner of Tread Lightly!, Ford Performance Racing School will help educate off-roading enthusiasts who attend their Raptor Assault and ST SUV Experiences on the Tread Lightly! mission and the importance of responsible recreation to keep outdoor spaces open, healthy, and beautiful.
“Responsible off-roading is key to keeping motorized trails open for generations to come, which allows our participants to use their Ford vehicle,” said Dan McKeever, President of the Ford Performance Racing School. “We are proud to partner with Tread Lightly! and to share their ethic with customers who share our passion for off-roading.”
The Raptor Assault and ST SUV Experience programs include on-the-trail training and a classroom setting to demonstrate the performance capabilities of the Ford Raptor or ST SUV (Edge and Explorer). These programs operate in controlled environments in Tooele, UT, Park City, UT, and Asheville, NC. Participants will receive educational material and practical, hands-on experience to learn not only how to operate their vehicles on off-road terrain, but how to do it sustainably.
