Enter The Fringe // Acid Reign

Enter the Fringe represents our first attempt at a short based on the Acid Reign Story and is a compilation of a few ideas tht didn’t make it into the series script and some of the inspiration came from the idea of someone wandering off into the fring that was introduced in the Red Rider episode.This short film was written and created as part of the Red Giant Film Competition and was initially completed in the week allowed for the competition. Following the competition Nathan colored the film and effects were polished to give the grungy post-apocalyptic vibe the series was looking to achieve.

During the competition Enter the Fringe won best picture, best cinematography, best director and crowd favorite and was also nominated for best score, script and makeup.

In “Enter the Fringe”, Ripp and Gus and Lilly are sent back out into the fringe by Nun who gives them an urgent contract for a man hunt but in the process Ripp discovers what appears to be something much more sinister.
