“We shot several test shoots for footage that we used to cut together a teaser. So much of that was never shown. This little test film takes footage and audio from several different shoots and combines them into a semi-cohesive story. Releasing this isn’t about showcasing any amazing filmmaking, but rather ensuring that the hard work and dedication of our cast and crew can be seen and shared. This short is a hodge podge from several unrelated production days so you may notice continuity errors, lip sync issues and more, but we hope you’ll more so enjoy all the people and work that went into the development of Acid Reign.
In “The Contract”, Ripp and Gus discover that Lilly wanted to prove her worth, so begged Nun for a scavanger contract that would take her into the Fringe, the outer lands where radiation is high enough that people become mentally unstable and run in packs. These groups of feral humans, or “Fringers” become a danger for Lilly as she seeks to fulfill her task. Can Ripp and Gus make it in time to help her.
